DualSTAR Isra Vision offers machine vision equipment for many industries. Its Smash inline inspection system detects and classifies surface defects on unprinted web materials, while its  PrintSTAR system provides real-time defect detection and process control for printed web materials.

What’s new? The DualSTAR system, which combines the capabilities of the Smash and PrintSTAR inspection systems for flexible packaging manufacturers.

Benefits Versatility. This single inspection system can find defects during extrusion, lamination and printing processes, and makes it easy for users to switch between inspecting unprinted and printed substrates. DualSTAR can inspect unprinted film that is transparent, opaque, dyed or translucent. It detects spots and holes, as well as typical imperfections in the lamination process, such as wrinkles and gaps. With printed materials, DualSTAR performs continuous quality and process control of the printed image, lamination and coating. It detects and records imperfections such as registration defects, color deviations, defects in decorative paintwork and missing print motifs. It is quick and easy to set up, and with its ability to collect data and analyze the production process to optimize operations, it provides a quick return on investment.
