Both businesses have seen recent growth.

Entek Manufacturing, Lebanon, Ore., has acquired material handling system supplier Adaptive Engineering & Fabrication (AEF). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Based in Placentia, Calif., AEF provides systems optimized for materials that are difficult to handle and convey. Entek said that both companies have seen significant growth recently.

“Together we will be able to leverage our teams to better serve our customers,” said Kim Medford, Entek’s president. “We will be even better positioned to share resources and deploy systems that will make building a plant or buying equipment solutions from the combined Entek AEF teams an even better experience.”

Entek supplies turnkey extrusion systems, twin-screw extruders and components.
