The extruder OEM's Henderson, Nev., facility will handle production of wear parts and fabrication, assembly and engineering tasks to accommodate new growth.

Extruder OEM Entek Manufacturing has opened a new 98,000-square-foot manufacturing and engineering facility in Henderson, Nev. The facility will handle production of wear parts, and fabrication, assembly and engineering tasks.

“We are expanding our business to better meet the needs of our customers’ growing businesses,” said Kim Medford, president of Entek Manufacturing, “Our greatest success comes from ensuring the success of the product manufacturers that our equipment supports.” Medford said the company is investing $10 million in new equipment for the Nevada site, and expects to have 50 or more new team members there by late 2022.

Linda Campbell, Entek’s VP of sales, said record growth led to the decision to add the Nevada facility.  “We recently expanded our machine shop at our Lebanon, Ore., headquarters, and we already need more space, and more workers, to keep up with our wear parts business,” she said.

Based in Lebanon, Ore., Entek manufactures twin-screw extruders, turnkey systems and extrusion wear parts and components.
