SML's smallest stretch film line currently in use, the MiniCast, is ideal for small lots and flexible production.

MiniCast SML's smallest stretch film line currently in use, the MiniCast, is ideal for small lots and flexible production. The modular system has two pre-configured extrusion units with hourly throughputs ranging from about 2,600 pounds to 3,100 pounds.

What's new? Introduction earlier this year, plus an upgraded 90mm standard extruder.

Benefits A cost-effective, flexible machine offering short cycle times, a small footprint and easy customization. The versatile machine can run either three- or five-layer film, and operators can switch easily from production of three rolls of 20-inch film to two rolls of 30-inch film, so the machine can make everything from small hand-wrap rolls to large jumbo rolls. Machine components have been designed to limit costs without impacting performance. In addition, the machine produces film with a reduced film tail for better quality and easier robotic handling.
