Pipe line for very large pipe This line from Battenfeld-Cincinnati produces HDPE pipe with diameters of about 8.5 feet. It features specialized tooling and a single-screw extruder with high-performance capabilities.What's new? The line size. It features a solEX 120-40 extruder capable of processing about 4,800 pounds an hour, a vacuum tank designed particularly for large-diameter pipe extrusion and a helix VSI-T+ pipe head with active intensive melt cooling. In August, Battenfeld-Cincinnati announced it was making the customized line for Hyundai Pipe Co. Ltd. The Sangju, South Korea, company manufactures pipe for the petrochemical industry.
