SPEEDFORMER KMD 90 This newest automatic packaging pressure former from Kiefel GmbH has the largest forming area, so far, of its Speedformer line, which already includes the KMD 64, KMD 78 and KMD 85. The machines have black ceramic heaters in the heating station.
WHAT'S NEW? KMD 90's maximum forming area of 865mm by 915mm (34 inches by 36 inches). For reference, KMD 85 is 825mm by 675mm. KMD 90 clamping pressure is 44 tons, with forming pressure of up to 75 pounds per square inch. The machine was first shown last year in Europe.
BENEFITS A high-output rate and cost efficiency for mass production, with less energy consumption using a variety of rigid packaging materials including PS, oriented PS, EPS, PP, PE, PVC, PET and PLA. Configurations allow for steel rule cutting, punching and stacking.
