WHAT'S NEW? The control system — with assembly and software development from Gloucester Engineering — is based on X20, the latest B&R PLC generation. Features include easy to use graphics, interfacing ease with other Windows-based applications, and OPC compatibility for connectivity to common third-party analysis tools.
BENEFITS ExtruTouch can be retrofitted to any existing blown film line regardless of make or model. Multi-language capability and graphic user interface simplifies and quickens training. The control system manages vacuum loading, blending, speeds, temperatures and pressures, gauging, profile control and safety aspects of blown film processing.
