With the start of a new year, Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Plastics Machinery GmbH, Schwaig, Germany, has announced several management changes.
The injection molding machinery maker has named Andreas Schramm COO, as of Jan. 1. Schramm will be in charge of the company's operations.
Also, the company has named Hideki Kuroiwa to its board of management. As the company's new CTO, he will be responsible for technical product development, with a special focus on all-electric machinery. Kuroiwa has worked for Sumitomo (SHI)Demag and its various subsidiaries for more than 20 years.
