March 23, 2016

IPEG Inc., Cranberry Township, Pa., is relocating Republic Machine Inc. to Franklin, Pa., from Louisville, Ky., and expanding operations in a project that was partially funded by the state of Pennsylvania. IPEG is the parent company of Republic Machine, as well as Conair Group, also based in Cranberry Township, and Thermal Care Inc., a maker of process cooling equipment based in Niles, Ill.

"We have ambitious growth plans for IPEG over the next 10-15 years and are presently investing significant capital to support these plans," said Chris Keller, president and CEO of IPEG.

IPEG is investing more than $1.4 million in the relocation and expansion. That will include building improvements to IPEG's existing facility in Franklin along with the purchase of new equipment. Republic Machine specializes in engineering and making shredders for plastics recycling.
