Charles Ross & Son expands in China

In response to increased demand for its mixers and other auxiliary equipment, Charles Ross & Son Co., Happauge, N.Y., has added 30,000 square feet of manufacturing space to its plant in in Wuxi, China, and plans to begin construction on a 200,000-square-foot facility there next year.

Ross Wuxi Equipment Co. Ltd. builds planetary mixers, multi-shaft mixers, high-speed dispersers, pressure vessels, reactors and custom agitators for the Asian, European and South American markets. New orders, especially from Chinese battery producers, are driving the expansion.
