Tahara upgrades electric extrusion blow molder

The TJD25B-M has a double-station configuration, post-cooling unit and upgraded drive system.

TJD25B-M Tahara’s fully electric extrusion blow molding machine is designed for manufacturing single-layer or multi-layer 20-liter jerrycans.

What’s new? The TJD25B-M, which represents an upgrade over the TJS25A-M. Unlike its predecessor, the TJD25B-M has a double-station configuration, a post-cooling unit and an upgraded drive system.

Benefits The ability to use recycled materials such as post-consumer recyclate in the middle layer of a three-layer container structure. Compared to the TJS25A-M Tahara exhibited at K 2022, the TJD25B-M is faster. Also, due to its double-station configuration, the new system offers more flexibility, so users of the new system can extend the cooling time inside the mold. The post-cooling unit reduces heat-related deformation after molding, such as tilted necks and warped bottoms.
