IMA Dairy & Food USA Inc., Leominster, Mass., which offers a portfolio of packaging machinery including forming, filling and sealing machinery and extrusion blow molding machines, announced it has hired automation specialist Alex Donovan as its West Coast sales manager. Brands of the IMA Group include Hassia, Gasti, Hamba, Fillshape, Corazza, Erca, AlphaMac and Intecma.
Before joining IMA, Donovan spent seven years with a global packaging machinery manufacturer, including three years as its business development manager.
Donovan, who lives in Portland, Ore., will lead customer relations and sales efforts across a swath of Pacific states, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, as well as Alaska and Hawaii.
“Alex brings intricate knowledge of packaging and automation equipment in a variety of niches – as well as a reputation for growing sales by meeting a diverse set of customer needs,” company President Patrick Carroll said.
