BottleDyne This inline corona treatment system from 3DT invisibly alters the surfaces of cylindrical plastic bottles for better bonding of ink, adhesives and labels. Appropriate for PP, PE and PET, it can treat 3,000 bottles per hour and accommodate containers with diameters ranging from 1.25 to 3 inches and heights up to 12 inches. A variable-speed belt system delivers the bottles to the corona treating station, where they move in a single lane and rotate 360 degrees during treatment. The system is equipped with Allen-Bradley controls and has an ozone-destruction system to meet EPA requirements. Optional equipment includes a piece counter and a feeder bowl to supply bottles to the system.
