RS-80 Rocheleau’s RS-80 model is part of the company’s RS series of reciprocating-screw blow molding machines, which are designed for volume production of thin-walled containers, industrial containers, wide-mouth jars and specialty items. It can process up to 450 pounds of HDPE per hour, has an 80mm extruder and a maximum platen width of 4 feet. The modular machine is available with three different clamp designs and various die head configurations for producing up to 12 parisons. The blow molder has a small footprint and is easy to operate.

What’s new? An optional upgrade to the hybrid electro-hydraulic technology that Rocheleau originally designed for the RS-90 model. The hybrid technology uses both hydraulics and a variable-frequency drive (VFD).

Benefits Energy efficiency. The combination of VFD and hydraulics can result in a 40 percent reduction in kilowatt-hour consumption compared to previous machines of the same capacity.
