Krones AG buys German company MHT Holding

In a strategic move that complements its existing portfolio, Krones AG, Neutraubling, Germany, has acquired MHT Holding AG, a Hochheim, Germany, manufacturer of tooling for PET preforms. Krones supplies stretch blow molding, filling and capping equipment to the beverage industry; according to a press release from the company, the acquisition will allow Krones to offer a broader range of PET processing products to its customers.

The company's North American headquarters, Krones Inc., is in Franklin, Wis.
