CAM software from Open Mind Technologies helps create tool paths

hyperMILL Open Mind Technologies' CAM software suite can be used to create cutter paths for numerical control (NC) milling machines. Operators can use it to machine items such as mold cores and cavities, mold bases and tooling. It can be directly integrated with popular CAD systems such as SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor.

What's new? Version 2017.2. New features include the detection and programming of T-slots, 3-D optimized roughing, automatic filleting of interior corners, and the ability to automatically create a perfect face and curve for swarf cutting based on selected geometries.
