Hydraulic cylinders Meusburger has expanded its line of double-acting hydraulic cylinders, with additional sizes for the E 7000, E 7001 and E 7020 models. The devices are used to move ejector plates, cores and other components within a mold, and have standard axial and transverse holes, which allows them to be installed in various ways. The cylinders' piston rods are hardened and ground for protection against damage and leaks, and their fluoroelastomer seals allow for operating temperatures of up to 356 degrees Fahrenheit. The E 7020 model (shown at bottom in the photo) has a threaded port and a sensor to detect the position of the cylinder rod. The E 7001 model (shown at top in the photo) has an O-ring port. The E 7000 (not shown) has a threaded port.
What's new? A longer stroke of up to 200mm, compared to prior versions.
Benefits More applications for the standardized mold components.
