Meusburger upgrades round, flat latch locks

Meusburger has upgraded two of its latch locks, which are used for controlling and locking the floating plate in three-plate injection molds.

Latch locks Meusburger has upgraded its E 1820 flat latch lock and E 1840 round latch lock, which are used for controlling and locking the floating plate in three-plate injection molds. The E 1820 latch lock ensures ideal force transmission through its stable, large surfaces, while its integrated damper provides for smooth and quiet operation. The E 1840 is for use in mold bases where no protruding attachments are allowed.

What's new? The locks' switching elements now have a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating.

Benefits Longer service life and suitability for cleanroom use due to the DLC coating.
