This sequential valve-gate controller from Orycon provides precise control of the melt-flow pattern in hot-runner cavities.

T-700 This sequential valve-gate controller from Orycon provides precise control of the melt-flow pattern in hot-runner cavities. Available with either 12 or 24 control zones, every unit is able to operate according to time (within 0.01 second) or screw position (within 0.01 percent of screw travel). The units can control either hydraulic or pneumatic valve gates, and come with a touch-screen display that makes all of the gate information visible at a glance. The T-700 can be directly connected to solenoid valves mounted on the mold to provide streamlined control of the gates, and detached hydraulic or pneumatic valve packs, as well as a hydraulic pressure tank, are available as options.

What's new? A "Big Boy" version, released several weeks ago, which combines hydraulics and controls into a single cabinet for space savings and better ergonomics.

Benefits Precise control and elimination of common defects. Because each zone can operate as many as eight times per cycle, the T-700 provides four times greater control than a typical controller, thus minimizing or even eliminating flow lines, cold welds and other imperfections.
