NanoLayer system Designed for the production of commodity stretch film, Cloeren's newest NanoLayer feedblock comprises a 55-layer NanoLayer Feedblock and an Epoch die measuring 5,435mm — about 18 feet across. Before installing the equipment at the facility of a European processor, the company displayed it at the K show.
What's new? The size. The equipment represents Cloeren's widest NanoLayer system.
Benefits Greater film size and higher throughput. The application for the feedblock exhibited at K is proprietary, but in general, the NanoLayer feedblocks allow customers to produce film with dozens, or even hundreds, of layers with sub-micron layer thickness, so they can leverage a huge range of film properties.
