LiquiForm Group, Ann Arbor, Mich., has licensed Krones AG, Neutraubling, Germany, to develop and commercialize its bottle forming and filling technology. The LiquiForm technology, announced in 2014, combines container forming and filling in a single process. Instead of using compressed air to form the container, it uses the liquid product itself.
Krones manufactures machines and complete lines for processing, filling and packaging beverages and food.
