SMV series Designed for use in manufacturing very small, precise parts, Seiki's compact, pneumatic valve-gate system works with all plastics, including engineered resins. It allows a stationary side height as thin as 4.7 inches and is appropriate for small injection molding machines with clamping forces of between about 17 tons and 56 tons. It can handle shot weights ranging from about 0.007 ounce to 0.18 ounce.
What's new? North American availability. The technology, which was developed in 2013, was originally available only in Asia.
