MetalRustGuard wrap prevents mold corrosion

MetalRustGuard This non-corrosive self-adhesive wrap from MetalRustGuard protects molds from rust and corrosion and provides a new way to package, store and ship mold components and tooling. The company exhibited the product at the NPE booth of DMS Inc., Oldcastle, Ontario.

What's new? A hydrophobic PP is impregnated with food-grade waxes and oils to form a barrier against rust. It prevents water vapor transmission and condensation forming on metal.

Benefits Easy application and removal. Approved by the FDA, the PP-based material is a barrier in high-humidity environments, even in direct contact with saltwater or acids. Company branding can be printed on the material.
