CO2 MOLD COOLING  This liquid carbon dioxide spot mold cooling technology is used for temperature control in injection molds where the CO2 is targeted to the cooling of hot spots in the mold via capillary tubes. The technology can be used on new molds, and existing molds can be retrofitted.

WHAT'S NEW?  Its availability in the North American market.

BENEFITS  Accessing areas of the mold previously unable to be cooled. Other benefits include shorter cycle times, more uniform cooling across the part geometry and improved mold release performance. The technology can be used in a standard injection molding process or micro molding.
