Formlabs printer features large build volume
Fuse X1 Formlabs’ new industrial selective laser sintering (SLS) 3D printer has a build volume of 13 inches by 13 inches by 22 inches for fast, efficient production of large or multiple parts. It has automated powder handling and an intuitive workflow in a compact footprint. It can be installed in approximately one hour, accomplishes print changeovers in five minutes, and operates on standard single-phase power without specialized HVAC requirements. Adaptive Thermal Control maintains stable print conditions across the build chamber, increasing packing density to achieve more parts per build, while AI-powered Print Intelligence uses artificial intelligence and computer vision to monitor every layer in real-time and remove defective parts.
What’s new? The Fuse X1 printer. The full system includes the printer and modular build unit, Fuse Sift X1 for powder recovery, a vacuum conveyor for automated powder transport and a high-capacity configuration for Fuse Blast for media blasting and polishing.
