R1 Designed to handle high-performance plastics, such as polyether ether ketone and Sabic’s Ultem resin, this fused-layer 3-D printer from Kumovis is appropriate for both prototyping and series production; it’s also useful for manufacturing custom-made medical devices. The printers are available in the U.S., though Kumovis currentlycannot provide support to customers here.
