
Carbon has appointed Dana McCallum as head of global enterprise sales. She will lead sales strategy across the sectors including medtech, consumer, industrial, service bureaus/injection molders and automotive.
McCallum was one of Carbon’s first sales hires in 2015 and helped build the company’s commercial business and the Carbon Production Network. She rejoins Carbon after stints in metal additive manufacturing at Mantle and Xact Metal.
“I’m excited to be back,” McCallum said. “My focus is on connecting with customers to explore how we deliver increased value, build scalable sales strategies, and ensure that our technology truly empowers brands to transform their business. Carbon is not just selling equipment, we’re enabling the future of manufacturing, and I’m thrilled to help lead that charge globally,” she adds.
She is an active member of groups like AMUG and Women in 3D Printing, and is a recipient of AMUG’s DINO (Distinguished Innovator Operators) Award, which recognizes those with the highest levels of AM expertise and a willingness to share that knowledge.
The company also announced the appointment of Christoph Meyer as Christoph Meyer has joined as Director of Oral Health Sales Europe, focusing on the company’s digital dentistry business.
Carbon, based in Redwood City, Calif., makes 3D printing technologies utilizing its DLS process for prototyping, low-volume and scale production.
