Sigma Labs names new CEO

Jacob Brunsberg, who had been president and COO, took the new position effective April 1.

Sigma Labs Inc. has appointed its president and COO, Jacob Brunsberg, to the CEO position, effective April 1. Former Sigma CEO Mark Ruport will become chairman of the board of directors, replacing John Rice, who will serve as a director.

Brunsberg has been with Sigma Labs since 2021, when he joined as senior VP. He was later promoted to president and COO, a role where he was responsible for product direction, strategic relationships, sales, marketing and engineering.

Sigma Labs develops quality-assurance software for additive manufacturing and is based in Santa Fe, N.M.
