App integrates 3D printing software from Markforged, 3YourMind

Eiger Markforged’s Eiger is a secure, cloud-based manufacturing software platform that enables teams within an organization to share access to CAD-based part designs, then easily 3D print and iterate those designs. 

What’s new? Integration between Eiger and 3YourMind’s manufacturing execution system software, called Agile MES. The integration is possible using an application programming interface, or API, which is an intermediary piece of software that allows two different applications to communicate.

Benefits Ability to scale operations. Users gain a single point of contact offering real-time visibility of the state and performance of their entire fleet of printers from various OEMs. Eiger uses artificial intelligence to continually improve its software, and offers its users automated software updates. Eiger’s API can also be used to automatically print replacement parts as the originals near their end of life.
