Print the rainbow: Stratasys resins mirror the spectrum
Agilus30 Colors Stratasys has introduced a line of color resins for use with its J7 and J8 series of PolyJet 3D printers. The printers are made for high-capacity, high-speed production of multi-material prints for design and engineering applications.
What’s new? The Agilus30 Colors resin family, which consists of Agilus30 Cyan, Agilus30 Magenta and Agilus30 Yellow. They can be combined to print more than 600,000 different colors. The resins can be used to create fully functional, full-color prototypes in a single 3D print. The printers’ software provides full control of the shore value definition so that users can precisely tailor the flexibility of the parts.
Benefits Superior color, texture and flexibility for greater design freedom. With the new materials, designers can print full-color, soft-touch prints and prototypes that look, feel and flex like the final product — a process that traditionally can be expensive, time-intensive and difficult to achieve. The materials create new possibilities for engineers and designers, especially within the consumer goods and entertainment industries, Stratasys said.
