What’s new? The Clean-Air system, an optional addition that includes an outer cover that attaches to a Method printer, a HEPA filter and a smart control system that plugs into the printer.

Benefits Improved safety for operators and the workplace. Internal testing conducted by MakerBot shows the Clean-Air system can remove up to 95 percent of ultra-fine particles produced during printing, compared to printers operating without the system. The Clean-Air system will automatically adjust its filtration depending on the material and chamber temperature of the printing job, and alerts operators when it’s time to replace the filter — a task that requires no tools.
