    In-Sight Laser Profiler This new system from Cognex is used on the factory floor to verify part dimensions, detect defects and measure factors such as height, gap, position and angle. It uses 3-D laser-displacement technology and features the company's EasyBuilder interface and VC200 vision controller. It is designed for a wide variety of applications within the automotive, electronics and consumer products industries, such as the inspection of extruded products, weld seams and package seals.
