Diverter valve gets update, new options

The updated PT45 diverter valve from Schenck Process features a positive food-grade silicone seal at each port, 45-degree port-to-port rotation and a two-way switching capability for either dilute-phase or dense-phase conveying. 

PT45 This updated diverter valve from Schenck Process features a positive food-grade silicone seal at each port, 45-degree port-to-port rotation and a two-way switching capability for either dilute-phase or dense-phase conveying. A pneumatic actuator provides a 2- to 4-second actuation time between ports. The valve comes in a range of dimensions; units are available in aluminum, stainless steel and cast iron.

What's new? The addition of actuation options, an external tunnel position indicator and adjustable alignment stops for most models. Also available with the second-generation valve, which debuted in December, are optional extreme-temperature designs and electric actuators.
