Dyna-Purge F2 Dyna-Purge's latest purging compound can be used in both injection molding and extrusion equipment at temperatures ranging from 320 degrees Fahrenheit to 625 degrees Fahrenheit. It can purge nearly all kinds of thermoplastic resins from screws, barrels, tools and dies, and is ideal for cleaning hot-runners and other narrow channels.
What's new? Dual-action cleaning. The purging compound features one component that is formulated to flow to the boundary layer of the melt (the thin layer of resin nearest the barrel) and another that acts as a pressurizing agent, pushing the purging compound into stagnation points. To mark the introduction of the product at NPE2018, the company is offering free 10-pound samples of Dyna-Purge F2, as well as a satisfaction guarantee on 55-pound boxes. Dyna-Purge will refund the cost of the 55-pound boxes if the product fails to perform better than a user's current purging compound.
Benefits Safety and ease of use. Dyna-Purge F2 doesn't require any mixing, soaking or adjustment to the manufacturing process. Made of non-hazardous, FDA-compliant ingredients, the compound can reduce downtime, scrap rates and purging costs.
