C6 VPN With its most recent upgrades, KEB America's industrial router can be used in situations where a small code footprint is required and the network capabilities are limited. In a plastics processing plant, the router can be used in small devices or automation systems with widely distributed components. For example, a drive in an injection molding machine can be connected to the C6 VPN, so molders can monitor machine temperature or torque limits, and make adjustments as required. The C6 VPN allows a specialist, such as a systems engineer, designer or integrator, to connect machinery on the factory floor to maintenance and monitoring software. It can connect with nearly any third-party PLC.

What's new? The ability to use the C6 VPN with the MQTT communication protocol. The integration provides a gateway to the Industrial Internet of Things. Systems engineers, designers and integrators can retrofit installations that use the C6 VPN with the MQTT protocol.

Benefits Versatility and simplicity of code. With the MQTT, users of the C6 VPN routers have access to data in any format.
