3-5 Linear Picker The newest addition to the Wemo Group's line of linear robots is compact enough to be integrated into the guarding of an injection molding machine, although it still can be mounted in the conventional way, over the machine's guarding. Designed for sprue and parts handling, the robots have a maximum payload of 5.1 pounds. Based in Värnamo, Sweden, Wemo is represented in the U.S. by Robotic Automation Systems.
What's new? The robot, which was introduced in October.
Benefits Space savings and ease of use. Because the robots can be integrated into an injection molding machine, they require no external safety equipment, which frees up space on the shop floor. In addition, the 3-5 Linear Picker is easy to set up due to its use of a symbol-based programming system.
