These wireless command switches from Steute send a unique, coded message to compatible receivers without the need for a battery.

Command switches These wireless command switches from Steute send a unique, coded message to compatible receivers without the need for a battery, thanks to an internal electrodynamic generator. If the switch doesn't receive a confirmation signal that the message has been received within 15 milliseconds, it resends the message. The switches are IP67-rated against dust and water intrusion and can operate at 915 megahertz (MHz), which is preferred in North America, or 868 MHz, which is preferred in Europe. Steute offers a variety of options for the switches (two-position, key-operated, and toggle) and housings (one-, two- or three-position), as well as range extenders.

What's new? The switches, which debuted in August.

Benefits Convenience and safety. The switches allow users to add a control to an existing machine or work cell without the need to run cables, which can pose tripping hazards.
