CS Sensor This cylindrical sensor from Canfield Connector is used to detect the presence of a magnet and then trigger an action in a wide variety of equipment. It can be used by OEMs or retrofitted to existing systems. In industrial automation, it can detect the closure of a door and allow a machine to run. It can identify changes in liquid levels or positions of components in injection molding machines, security gates, furnaces, sprinkler controllers and many other types of machines and systems. The sensor is enclosed in a stainless-steel, threaded housing and is effective in temperatures ranging from minus 4 degrees to 176 degrees Fahrenheit.
