RMC200 motion controller Suitable for injection molding, the newest entry in Delta's RMC line controls the pressure that a hydraulic cylinder exerts as well as the positioning of the piston, providing smooth application of pressure as the mold is filled, as well as precise control over the final pressure. It can handle closed-loop control of up to 32 motion axes, enabling it to control multiple motor motions simultaneously, and offers built-in support for controlling pressure, force, velocity, acceleration and position. This electro-hydraulic controller also is equipped with the company's RMCTools software, which includes a graphical programming interface, motion-plotting tool and Tuning Wizard to automate the process of setting control loop gains.

What's new? The controller, which was introduced late last year.

Benefits Flexibility and lower costs. The RMC200 comes with expanded control and I/O interfacing compatibility. In addition, it can be programmed to enable only as many loops as an application requires, allowing buyers to save money by paying only for the functionality they need.
