Carlo Gavazzi's new series of voltage and frequency monitoring relays protects critical machine circuitry during three-phase load applications.

DPD Series Carlo Gavazzi's new series of voltage and frequency monitoring relays protects critical machine circuitry during three-phase load applications. Each relay is only about 0.9 inch wide and is ideal for use in generator sets, power generators and pumps/compressors. The North American version, DPD02DM44B, comes with default settings for 240-volt electrical lines. It can be password-protected for enhanced security.

What's new? The series, which was introduced in February.

Benefits Precision and versatility. Because they're digital, setpoints on the DPD relays are more accurate than those of a potentiometer. Users can program as many as 10 alarm conditions that can be combined via "and/or" logic to provide up to two relay outputs; programming can be done via smartphone app using the relay's near-field communication configuration, or via a USB-connected computer.
