Motan coupling system can be linked to as many as eight blower lines

The controls of the MetroConnect C and UC coupling tables can be linked to as many as eight blower lines from vacuum conveying systems.

MetroConnect The controls of Motan's new coupling tables, the MetroConnect C and UC, can be linked to as many as eight blower lines from vacuum conveying systems. The MetroConnect C, the more advanced of the two systems, uses radio-frequency identification, or RFID, technology to track connections and ensure that materials are conveyed only when the correct connection is made. The MetroConnect UC is "uncoded," but can be easily upgraded with RFID sensors and tags to achieve coded functionality. Coded coupling stations prevent human errors and are often necessary if materials must be tracked or validated. Both versions are supplied with all necessary pipes and couplings. Ninety-six loaders and material sources, as well as up to 125 coupling points, can be connected to each blower line, with the possibility of adding even more coupling points.

What's new? The coupling systems, which were introduced at the K show.

Benefits Flexibility and ease of use. The MetroConnect UC's supports and connectors can be easily and clearly labeled, and the system can be retrofitted as a MetroConnect C at any time. Additionally, older coupling systems can be extended with MetroConnect C regardless of the manufacturer.
