CCF With Davis-Standard's new cable cutting and feeding (CCF) machine, a set length of insulation cable can be pulled out of an accumulator and affixed to an empty reel after being cut to a preset length. The machine features a deflection pulley arrangement, with integrated clamping, feeding and cutting devices, and helper caterpillar to facilitate transfers from one take-up to the other. In addition, it has adjustable vertical and horizontal guiding rollers, along with adjustable upper and lower belts on pneumatic cylinders with pressure rollers.

What's new? The machine, which Davis-Standard launched a few months ago.

Benefits Faster take-up reel changes, requiring minimal operator involvement. Also, the CCF has been designed for longevity.
