Codemax coupling station Wittmann Battenfeld's new coupling station is for use with its material conveying systems and makes sure the correct resin is sent to each processing machine. Each material distribution port on the coupling station has a unique ID number, which is programmed into the Wittmann M7.3 central conveying control along with material destination connections. When an operator selects a material to be conveyed and its destination, the control tells the operator which connection to make on the manifold. If the correct connection is made, the M7.3 begins the conveying cycle.

What's new? The coupling station, which hit the market recently.

Benefits Cost-effective, wireless error-proofing. Codemax won't allow the wrong resin to go to a processing machine, even if an operator makes a mistake when connecting the conveying system to the material supply.
