HEKUflex Hekuma has updated its HEKUflex modular automation system for injection molding. It is suitable for upstream, downstream and take-out operations.
What's new? The integration of non-Hekuma technology into two new modules. The HEKUflex system displayed at K 2016 was configured to remove toothbrushes from a mold and inspect and package them. It featured a camera inspection module that incorporates a Stäubli TX40 six-axis robot and a module with a customized packaging machine, the 280VD Sonder from Packmat Maschinenbau GmbH, Villingendorf, Germany.
Benefits Flexibility. Because of the system's modular design, Hekuma is able to prepare specific configurations quickly.
