W8 in-mold labeling systems come to U.S.

Cincinnati Process Technologies is now marketing a series of in-mold labeling systems.

W8 Cincinnati Process Technologies, which has distributed products made by Taoyuan, Taiwan-based We-Technology (WETEC) Automation Co. Ltd. for about three years, is now marketing a series of in-mold labeling systems. Built for the packaging and consumer products industries, systems in the W8 series can support injection molding machines ranging from 150 to 850 tons and labels for everything from small lids to 6-gallon pails. The systems have entry strokes of 66 inches to 95 inches and include servo-driven, side- or top-entry robots, label cassettes, an electrostatic charger and WETEC's V25 controller. Exact components depend on parameters such as the size, shape and speed of the line. Pictured is the W832, which is designed to support stack-mold configurations.

What's new? U.S. availability of the system, which is manufactured in Asia.

Benefits Higher quality and more efficient labeling. The system reduces manufacturing time, labor requirements and costs.
