Engel's new compact automation cell makes it simple to integrate robots and secondary processing equipment upstream and downstream.

easiCell Engel's new compact automation cell has a modular design that makes it simple to integrate robots and secondary processing equipment upstream and downstream of an injection molding machine. Applications include laser cutting and marking, plasma surface treatment and automation tasks such as moving trays. When used as a stand-alone unit, it features its own 21-inch control panel; easiCell can also be operated and monitored via the control panel of an injection molding machine.

What's new? The automation cell, to be shown for the first time at the K show.

Benefits Space savings and consistent controls. The integration of all control system components creates a consistent operating philosophy and reduces the training required for personnel. All control systems are integrated into a single CC300 control unit.
