Kaeser Compressor has expanded its Secotec line of refrigerated dryers to remove moisture from compressed air systems.

Secotec TE refrigerated dryers Kaeser Compressor has expanded its Secotec line of refrigerated dryers, which are used to remove moisture from compressed air systems. They feature Kaeser's Secopack LS thermal storage system, which contains a phase-changing material (PCM) with 98 percent higher thermal storage capacity than conventional storage media. As the PCM cycles from a solid to a liquid state, thermal energy is stored, maintaining a stable outlet dew point for better moisture control.

What's new? The three new models, which were introduced in May. The TE 102 has a rated capacity of 325 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM); the TE 122's rated capacity is 410 SCFM; and the rated capacity of the TE 142 (shown) is 470 SCFM. The Secotec refrigerated dryer line now encompasses 18 models with airflow capacities ranging from 20 to 1,060 SCFM.

Benefits Prevention of condensation in production tools and equipment. Also, the dryers are lighter and more compact than competing products, and are designed to minimize pressure loss as air travels through them.
