RCT1000 Badger Meter has upgraded its line of RCT1000 Coriolis mass flow meters. The meters' open-flow design makes them appropriate for many fluids, including slurries, adhesives and coatings, that are difficult to measure with other technologies. The devices' software provides data logging, trend analysis and advanced diagnostics of the flow.
What's new? Hazardous-location certification. With an explosion-proof transmitter and intrinsically safe sensors, the meters are now suited to a wider variety of industrial processing applications, including polymer and resin mixing.
Benefits Safe operation. In addition to the hazardous-location certification, the device's transmitter has a feature to prevent accidental activation. Also, the operator can navigate the transmitter's LCD display through glass, without opening the enclosure.
