Models 170-1-2 & 170-2-2 Made with just three moving parts, these new Acrison volumetric feeders are designed for both continuous and batch applications. Each model features a versatile metering mechanism with two independently driven augers for metering a variety of dry solids. The feed rate for Model 170-1-2 ranges from 0.28 to 84 cubic feet per hour; the Model 170-2-2 (shown) has a feed rate ranging from 0.4 to 160 cubic feet per hour. Hopper capacities range from 4 to 20 cubic feet.
What's new? The product line, and its specially configured horizontal agitator that rotates slowly to ensure that the two metering augers are completely filled with the product.
