PDDM Charles Ross & Son has added a larger size to its planetary dual-disperser mixer line. The mixer features a dual-post hydraulic lift that raises and lowers four sets of agitators into the mixing vessel. Driven by two explosion-proof 150-horsepower motors, it can handle highly viscous products and is suited for pigment dispersions, engineered composites, filled epoxies, molding compounds, PU, silicones and other materials. All parts that come into contact with the product being mixed are made from stainless steel. It features a chiller, built-in vacuum pump and a spray system for flushing the gearbox and mixer cover.
What's new? The size. With a 1,000-gallon capacity, it's the largest in the line, which until now topped out at 750 gallons.
